Tata DOCOMO has come up with a unique & one of its kind service called ‘Route Finder’. With this innovative service one can get accurate directions to their locations to be reached & also offers a robust database with millions of points of interest, including restaurants, places of worship, shops and hotels. What makes this service one of its kind is that it isn’t partial!

Best thing about route Finder service is that you don’t need a smartphone or a 3G connection to use this service; it is open for all the 2G as well as 3G users. What makes it unique is that you get turn by turn directions right on your phone anywhere anytime via sms’s. If you do own a smartphone you can also get assistance on a map! Essentially the way it works is to ‘figure out’ the location through triangulation and then deliver the best possible route to the destination – on SMS or on MAP.

Tata DOCOMO have also clubbed in a ‘buy one get one free’ offer, that is, If you request for direction for the first time, your next request will be complementary! Strictly following fair play, they also assure that you won’t be charged until your requested direction is delivered to you. Plus the pricing remains only Rs. 5 per direction.

Tata DOCOMO is highly successful in its endeavour to constantly excite their users through such creative and utility based value added services that make their life fun and simple. Suddenly new destinations seem innocuous! I’m off to explore the roads less travelled with a trusted friend called ‘Route Finder’.
